Understanding The Religion Of Islam

Islam is a religion that is articulated by the Holy Quran; it contains the text of Allah, and is explained by Hadith and Sunnah. The adherent of the religion Islam is known as Muslim. All the Muslims believe that Allah is incomparable and one and the purpose of existence of man is to love Allah and serve him. Muslims are also of the view that the religion Islam consists of primordial faith and it was revealed at many places and times.

There were other messages and books of various religions, but they were changed or corrupted over some period of time, but the only book of Quran has remained the same till now. There are five main pillars of religion Islam and these are the basic concepts and are the obligatory acts of worship, they also follow the Islamic law, which covers each and every aspect of society and life and provides guidance on different topics from the banking and warfare and from the warfare to environment.

The word Islam refers to the concepts of completion, wholeness, bonding, completion, and joining, it has religious context and means “voluntary submission to Allah”. Believers of the religion Islam demonstrate submission to Allah by following all his commands, while rejecting polytheism. The core beliefs of religion Islam are that only one Allah exists, and the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) is his last prophet.

Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) through angel Gabriel and Muslims believe in the Day of Judgment where all the people will undergo the resurrection of body.
